Modifications

• Slip first stitch of each row
• Slip fifth stitch of button band on RS rows
• Cast on 70 stitches
• 8 stitched braided cable on either side of button band, separated from button band and body of sweater by two purl stitches
• 6 stitch braided cable at increases for sleeves

Additional notes:
This is my first time using Purple Label and it’s really soft, but not as soft as Red Label. Colour changes in this skein are subtler than in the second skein which is better for these cables.

If I were to knit this with the same modifications again I would add 1 stitch to each button band and reduce the purl stitches on each side of the main cable to 1.

Overall I’m quite happy with this.
