I finished knitting the hat today. I had a heck of a time figuring out the best way to carry the two yarns and maintain an even tension. At first I tried holding them both in my left hand, then one in each hand, and went back to both in my left hand. I’m afraid when I block the hat it’s going to balloon into a chef’s hat because I think most of my tension is pretty loose. At least the ribbing should be even enough to keep the hat on my head. I’m sure glad my first stranded knitting project was a hat and not a sweater!

After weighing my black ball of yarn I still had 50 grams, so not sure how much I used.

Before pom-pom - I used 16 grams white and 28 grams of blue.
