I finished knitting the hat today. I have a lot of ends to weave in because of the stripes, plus I had to cut out three wonky bits from the blue yarn, and I accidentally cut a yarn to change colors before I should have. So that will take a few days. The hat is pretty long but my brother wanted something slouchy, so that’s what he’ll get!

All the ends are woven in and the hat is blocking now. For the stripes I did a 1-2-3-5-8-13 row count, reversing the blue and the yellow. So after doing 4 inches of ribbing in blue, I did 5 rows stockinette and then 1 row of yellow, 13 rows of blue, 2 of yellow, 8 of blue, etc. After the last row of blue I knit 2 rows stockinette in yellow and then began the decreasing. It is pretty long but not overly so for a slouch.
