I’m working on the last stripe. I forgot to weigh my yarn before starting, so I imagine that I used at least 5-10 grams more than the what’s written above.

I finished binding off today. So far I really like it! I need to weave in the ends. I decided not to carry the contrasting color yarn up the side, so I have twice the ends to weave in. I’m hoping it stretches out a bit with blocking.

I blocked this yesterday and wore it today. I really like it, but I might have blocked it too aggressively. I was trying to get a nice crescent shape, but I think in stretching it out with blocking wires, the bind off edge opened up too much and in some places it almost looks like an eyelet row, and in other places there are little bumps along the edge, like some parts got stretched and others didn’t. Oh well. After I have gotten a fair share of wear out of it I might try blocking it again. Maybe sans wires.

I followed the pattern as written. I couldn’t block the hump out of the cast on edge, but I don’t mind it because when I’m wearing it, the hump makes a nice little collar around the neck. If I make this again I would cast on the same way. Also, I did not add yarn overs to the top edge because I wanted it to be a little tighter than the cast off edge. I thought it would help with the crescent shape. I don’t have any problems wth the edge being too tight or curling.
