Notes

There are so many new patterns out there that I would like to make but I keep coming back to this one. I really like the way they fit and they are so much fun to make. My first pair were snapped up by my daughter before they were even off my needles (I really wish that she would learn to knit too, it would be fun to share the fun), and my second pair have been worn so often that they have sprung a leak. So I am making a third pair. This pattern fits my feet so well and I really like the heel. Next time, I will make some changes in the picture part and lengthen them but the construction is just … perfect. But for now, I am just following the pattern because I need a new pair of socks quickly. I did however continue the “snowflakes” down the length of the sock without the adding the chevrons near the centre.

They are not really a black and white but a very dark bluish purple. I do like the colours a lot.
