Notes

These started out as nice simple stocking stitch socks, using the contrasting skein for cuff / heel / toe. CO 66 stitches, made the leg long enough to wear with my DMs.

Decided to try something different instead of a heel-flap, and started following the Timberline Toes pattern to use the garter stitch heel and toe. I used the 68-stitch sock heel option, since there wasn’t one for a 66 st sock.

They took this long to knit because they were my “waiting room” socks, and I only knit them a row or two at a time.

The results work equally well either way out, so I have unexpected reversible socks. Yay!

Needles: Brittany birch DPNs.
