Arne & Carlos ‘2nd easiest’ short-row heels pattern and Andrea Rangel’s wonderfully clear tutorial on Youtube, then found my notes from several years ago on how to knit short-row heels. I much prefer a flap and gusset heel, both for the knitting and for the fit, but like the look of short-row heels in a contrasting color. Otherwise, this is my basic sock, with 56 sts cast on.
