Notes

At first, I had some difficulty starting with the pattern. You really have to read very carefully and count a lot. The instructions are very detailed, but also a bit confusing in the partial area.

Deutsche Anleitung
Seite 5 - Vorderseite

I just ask myself: do I really need sleeves??? Actually, the top also looks nice without sleeves …
I think I’ll just add a small ribbing to the armholes.

I knitted the body rib binding with a 2.5 needle so that the top is a bit tighter at the bottom.

I’m satisfied with size 1 (length and width) and the lace pattern looks nice, only the neck area doesn’t convince me.
Unfortunately the collar stands up and doesn’t lie flat which would look nicer for my taste.
You can see it quite well in the photo.

The front part looks wavy, slides up and slightly hangs forward.
I’m sure it will get a little better if I wash and block the top, but I think the construction is somehow not right.

I suspect it would be better to include the neck binding in the construction of the shoulder seams from the beginning on.

I finally removed the ribbed collar and replaced it with an 3stitch i-cord. The neck area now fits better. I didn’t knit on any sleeves because otherwise the top would get too warm. It was not necessary to add ribbing to the arme holes, because they look neat and clean as they are, without edging. The final weight is 235g. I think the top would be a bit more summery if you just knit it from the Trio yarn, without adding Alpaca 1.
