This was a frustrating project for me (at no fault of the pattern). It was my first brioche knit, and that went well enough. I got the hang of it pretty quickly. But I soon realized that I have very little brain power for knitting most days. Running three businesses and being a SAHM means my energy is low and brain is mush by the time I pick up my knitting. So while this was a great knit, I screwed it up more times than I could count. I dropped stitches. I screwed up the decreases 60% of the time. And then I ran out of yarn at the end! Ugh. I ended up doing the last 3 repeats of the shawl in one of the contrasting colors. It looks fine and I’m okay with it. But it’s back to garter stitch shawls for me. Maybe I can do more intricate stuff again when I retire.
