My first crochet cast on. It was too much of a pain to try and pick up stitches from the chain, so I just worked the crochet over the needle and made sure to knit from the stitches on the needle correctly (not twisted).

This is looking like I planned it, but I’ve used up four different little leftover balls from different skeins so far. I doubt I’ll have enough of that yellow-green for a second sock, so I may have a monsterly pair.
