The seashell cable at the instep and calf serves as an increasing device, starting off the arch shaping between the waves and pepples.

This sock was a fun one to design, and the seashell cable is my own original creation.

No boredom here -- lots to do and the result is very comfortable and well-fitting.

05-20-10 note: I had to increase my rating for this yarn to five stars, because I accidentally ran this pair through both the washer and dryer. They came out in great shape, no shrinkage or fuzzing, just softer (and they needed softening). This is good stuff.
