Modifying pattern for this recycled yarn.
Cast on 126 sts for 32”-ish width. 10 rows bottom border.
Frogged after 7”.It’s a little too light. Restarted with double strand on #8 needles, 86 sts. Hope there is enough yarn.
6/12 - My scale confirmed my fears: not enough yarn. I dug up some old recycled acrylic from some of my early recycling efforts. Very soft, and perfect shade, and lots of it!
Cast on 86 sts again on #11 needles. Came out too wide (41”), but oh well…
This time, I misread the pattern, and have 6 rows between the purl bits, instead of 2. Oh well, I’m not ripping those 18” out, and I like it this way.
