Very simple design. Only 5 increase rows.
I’m using a lighter yarn on #7 needles to get about 30”, hopefully.
Now working on the border: it’s the best part, watching the circle take shape, instead of being scrunched up like a giant beret.
It’ll be a pleasure to block, quite a job with all the points, and acrylic yarn, but will make a huge difference!

I threw it in a wash machine to block it, one of those stupid “luxury” Samsung washers without the center post. Delicate cycle my ass! POOF! It shredded the blanket!

2/5/2020 - Took the project out of time out after 5 years. Unraveled the shredded part, down to the 3rd increase row. I now have 30 little balls of yarn! Doll clothes…?
Good thing it’s a very enjoyable project!

2/21 - Starting on the border.
2/27 - Border done. The knitting, anyway.
4/16 - Finally blocked it.
