Making this for DGD Gabby. Today is her birthday (20 yrs).
She is playing basketball for the UConn Huskies, and Connecticut gets real cold in the winter. She said a headband would work better for her than a hat.
As one knitter mentioned, I can’t believe only a couple of the knitters (out of 55 projects) mentioned the error in the pattern! It’s the same error in the French version.
Anyway, I did C6B, then C6F.
Using some lovely discard I found at one of my groups.

Using a vertical marker, a length of scrap yarn that I flip through the work every 6 rows on the cable row. It makes counting the rows so simple.

The second one is made of Nuance. I’m doing the edges in seed st to see if I like it. I do.
