This cast on is the same as the sock toe cast on I learned for double heelix socks.

Needed to pull so tightly as I went.. Probably should have used size 3 needles instead of 4.

Another late realization: Using a sliiightly smaller diameter yarn on the “inside” layer would probably give better results. My inside layer was bubbly.

Alternated the 3rd yarn every other row near the top, which created a funnel shape (it was thinner yarn).

End grafting didn’t go so well. Should have refreshed myself on the technique, but I was so done.

Now that I’ve had some time to forget my frustrations, I love love love it. The cashmere blend is so comfy.
