Don’t hesitate, get this pattern! I love my finished sweater & I get so many compliments! I even tried it with just a tee underneath, and the wool I chose isn’t scratchy at all.

Pairing the Lanas Light with Malabrigo Lace (baby merino) gives it just a touch more structure and it’s still close to 24 x 33.

My first try of the neckline was ripply because I cast on too loose with the German method. I frogged it and tried again, doing it tighter (using US 2/ 2.75mm). That gave a nice smooth edge. Also a bit closer fit, which I like, but it may have increased ripple in the yoke part.

09-23-2024

9/30 Have finished the chart with US 4 :) On to the rest using US 3.

10/25 I did long sleeves because of the time of year. I calculated the yarn needed in the pattern would be adequate for this size (short sleeve version), and probably could even get away with 1 ball of the recommended yarn for the yoke. (I used about 80 meters of my yarn for CC in the yoke.)

Update 11/4/24:
Used a US 2.5 (3mm) for the sleeve ribbing. For the body hem, I believe I just continued on with the US 3 (3.25mm).

I went rogue and did some short rows at the bottom so it would be longer in front than back. That’s just how I like it.
