Notes

I hesitated on this project because I’ve never used four needles before. I survived and the product is decent.

Pattern uses two different size needles--be careful as the body of the instructions does not tell you exactly when to switch needles--so make a note before you begin.

Pattern went quickly as promised. I will surely try this pattern again in a yarn with subtler color changes as it will help the detail of the cables stand out better.

This will go nicely with the Della Cowl I made earlier in the year.

I also made the cap part on this too big. When the pattern say to knit 5 inches from the bottom of the cable band, they mean it! I used the top of the cable band and the cap came out a bit too tall. I still love it.

My husband wore the cap and the Della Cowl this week in NH so I got to admire them a lot in the light. I was in awe of the Manos del Uruquay colors.
