This pattern is also called Sleepy Bear Afghan or if you use different colors on the granny rounds, it is also called Scrappy Bear Afghan.

The pattern shows an embroidered nose. I was going to use pom poms, but in the mean time figured out I could crochet little circles with double crochets and make them pop when I joined the circle. The 3-D effect works out well.
