Increasing Section
R1: knit all stitches
R2: KFB, knit to end, KFB
Repeat R1 & R2 until there are 37 stitches, ending with a R1.

Standard Section
R1: KFB, knit to last two stitches, K2Tog
R2: knit all stitches
Repeat R1 & R2 until the longer edge of the scarf measures 74”, ending with a R2.

Decreasing Section
R1: K2Tog, knit to last two stitches, K2Tog
R2: knit all stitches
Repeat R1 & R2 until 3 stitches remain, ending with a R2.

For the final row, K2Tog, then knit the final stitch, and pass the first stitch over the second one to bind it off. Cut yarn and pull end through the one remaining stitch. Weave in the ends and it’s done!
