I casted on 36 stitches and worked 16 rounds of K2-P2 ribbing. Then did 10 rounds of stockinette stitch, then started increases for thumb (increased by 14 stitches). I followed the directions from there, and finished with 16 rows of K2-P2 rib. Then cast off in rib stitch.
