I casted on 61 stitches for this hat using the crochet cast on method. Then I used the jogless method to connect it in the round, reducing it down to 60 stitches. I did K2-P2 rib stitch for 62 rounds (about 11”).

Then, I decreased the crown according to the pattern. On round 7 of decreasing, I had 15 stitches, so I did K2Tog 7 times, then just knitted the last stitch. Then I knitted one more round plain (round 8 of decrease pattern). Then I wove my ending yarn through all 8 stitches with a tapestry needle and wove in the ends.
