Some changes to the garter stitch tab cast on:
cast on 2 stitches, knit 5 rows, do not turn work, rotate 90 degrees, pick up and knit 3 stitches, turn and knit 2 stitches in the cast on edge (7 st).
Set up Row (WS): k2, yo, k1, pm, kyok, pm, k1, yo, k2 (11 st).

Stocking stitch body: fearful to have less thread than needed, I decided to stop at 221 stitches, and decreased 2 in the last WS row, ending with 219 stitches, ready to begin the lace section.

58 gr left of the first skein at the beginning of the lace section

13 gr left of the first skein at the end of the small lace chart

Made the extended lace section.

50 gr left of the second skein before row 65.
30 gr left of the second skein before row 7 of the border lace pattern

9 gr left of the second skein before bind off

Made every second picot, otherwise I would run out of thread.

Really big shawl, so light and warm, such a pleasure on my skin, I love it!
