6/21/11 - It fits! Loosely, but it’s at least wearable. It’d be interesting, I think, to try the fingering tosh sock yarn (fingering weight) with a hat pattern I know I like, just to see how it turns out.

6/19/11 - Didn’t get a chance to knit the last two days… Finished today. Total knitting time about 10 hours. Here’s hoping THIS one fits. ;)

6/16/11 - Cast on with size 4s because I couldn’t find my size 5 tips. I don’t like rolled brims or rolled stockinette edges in general--they look unfinished and almost accidental to me. So, instead of knitting for 10 rows, I decided to torture myself by knitting 7 rows (about 1”) of 1x1 ribbing. Lace pattern is going well so far.
