It’s fucking cold. Like, -25° wind chill cold. So I need a neck warmer with a turtle neck that I can use to cover up most of my face so it doesn’t hurt, and with a bit of a chest warmer, too, since my coat has a somewhat large v-neck. So, here we go.

11/14/17 - Done! Obviously I didn’t work on this very much or very often. I also DID NOT follow a pattern--I just winged it, so mine is kinda ruffly at the bottom. I knit the neck/ribbing for about 9”, then increase. And increased. And increased. And eventually wound up with 488 stitches. Knit two garter rounds, then bound off, and WARMTH! This’ll be tremendously handy when the temperatures dip this winter, which is an unfortunate certainty.

2/21/15 - I didn’t like the fabric I got when I used size 8 (5mm) needles AT ALL, so we’re trying size 5s. CO 100 sts, and I’ll be doing a 2x2 rib for… well… a while.
