8/21 - Done! Instead of closing with 18 sts, I knit one round of centered double decreases (sl2, k1, psso) to get a tighter crown. Perfect fit, too. All it took was just a little bit of knitting at lunch here and there. A nice, quick project, as all hats should be. :)

8/10 - Finished knitting 26 rows (no purl row, contrary to the pattern, but I did that on purpose), picked up provisional cast-on, and knit together. Moved to size 6 needle.

8/6 - Cast on provisionally for the small size and knit 5 rows.
