Love this pattern! It is fun intro to short rows due to no wraps for the garter stitch. Experienced knitters will not need to refer to the pattern after the first wedge (of three colors) is complete. Very intuitive knitting.

• Very easy to carry #1 & 2 colors up the side.
• Weave in ends of color #3 as you knit the first row of that color and on first row of the long color #1 band.
• Worked ten (10) wedges. Would need more of color #3 (green in my scheme) to make more wedges. Plan in advance.
• Did not do the short rows to fill in the neck curve. I like the way it wraps on the neck with that slight curve.
• For my next version I might work YO, k2tog, at each short row turn to make a holey version. But this color scheme is for Mardi Gras and that day is not so Holy!
