This version of “driftwood” makes me a lot happier than my first one.
A) This yarn is a lot more durable than the merino I used before
B) The hood is awesome!!!

It took a lot longer than my first version because I broke a finger halfway through the hood.

Because of my decision to make the stripes bigger, I had to do some calculating to get the sleeves right etc.

Instead of only adding the buttonband, I continued to knit those stitches upward and made a hood. For the shaping of the hood I used the German short-row technique.
To give some weight to it I attached some fur scraps I had been asked to experiment with.
Were I to knit this hood again, I think i would try to line all of it with some faux fur or knit a lining from furry yarn.
All in all: Love this sweater!
