I revamped the pattern to have ribbing and a normal neckline.
I also did the puff sleeves my own way. I knitted starting at the shoulder k 1,yo etc for 10 stitches. The I did short rows doing k,yo,k at the end of each row till I hit 30 stitches. Then I added knitting 2 together as I picked up the stitches on the edge. I came out with 46 stitches to start going down the sleeve. Worked well.
It makes a stretchier armhole rather than sewing it in.
