Notes

What a fun and quick project! It would make a great gift but I’m keeping it.

There is no danger in using this as a potholder too because it is thick and luxurious! And who doesn’t love flowers??!!!

Thanks for sharing this great potholder pattern!

Notes:

  • Burgundy round I did more freeform petals including some that were 6 DC in 1 loop then another 6 DC in next loop.

  • After creating the loop as instructed, I used a single strand of the same color yarn to snuggly wrap single crochets around the loop to give it more structure.

  • I created a crochet ball that I stuffed with yarn to fill the center of the flower. I wanted the extra buffer of yarn in the center and I like the effect. 3 small balls would also be pretty.
