When my son-in-law Spencer saw this, he sent a message that he would LOVE one for Christmas!

He and my daughter are visiting for Thanksgiving and I decided to make it an early present for him. He did LOVE it! I do too! :)

Notes:

• Shortened the body a bit. Adjusted arms and hood to match new height.

• Pulled roving through the stitches around the face and ears and then trimmed and twisted them to resemble the fur on the Ewoks. I then used some scrapbook ink to tint the ends of the beard for depth.

• Found a stick outside and used the brown stitches between the fingers I added for definition to wrap the stick in his hand as if he is holding it.

• I stuffed it with roving since that is what I had on hand.

• I bought the 9 mm safety eyes from 6060 Etsy Shop

• I used the brown yarn to indent the face around the eyes and took a stitch through the bottom of each foot and anchored it to the waistline area creating both a bottom and making the legs stable for standing.

• I assembled the head a bit askew to create an inquisitive expression.
