choice made: Moses meets dandelions it is!
I love that Löwenzahn varies from dark to light in such a way that the contrast with Moses diminish and increase at random places.
I CO 190 sts, 100 in front and 90 at back, decreasing apprx. as pattern states. I knitted the coller very tight, scared of it’d turn out floppy if I didn’t. I did I-cord neckline, the whole collar turned out a bit smallish, but satisfactory so I’ll just continue along.
And now - stockinette heaven or hell - depends on the eye of the knitter;)
and for moi - heaven:):)
I’m doing the smallest size (even fewer sts, picked up 190 and went from there), but it seems like too big still (danish sizes I guess…), am very unsure if I should frog or not, maybe some decreases will work…
I’ve decided that a little baggy looks just as good as a more slim-fitted sweater, so surprise surprise - I’m not frogging. Did some decreases instead, almost done with the body now!
The instructions are so short and not very explanatory, but the pattern itself super simple.
I knitted the body too long I think:-/
but this time the I-cording went really well, I love how the lower border turned out!
Sleeves: doing short sleeves (3/4), picked up total 81 sts, decreased about every 12th row 6 times, then k2tog every second st before the border. I-cord finish.
Yikes! So many ends to weave in due to the stripes!
All in all, this project is one of the most enjoyable I’ve finished:):)
I love this sweater sooo much!
