If I was smarter, I would’ve cast on one extra stitch for the pocket and knit that together with the first body stitch, thus avoiding the loose stitches next to the pocket.

Hmm… The finished cardigan weighs 400 grams but my left-overs consist of a skein and then some. Or perhaps I have one skein lurking somewhere in the chest?
