I was going to make a cotton version of Alanis, but after I cast on and knit the edge I realized that my gauge was going to be WAY off. So now I’ve decided to make the Love Note, without the mohair. I’ll make it to my waist, with elbow-length sleeves. I imagine wearing it over sleeveless dresses or with a t-shirt and jeans.

I love how this came out. The only real change I made was that I eliminated the decreases before starting the neckline ribbing. Very pleased with how that worked out.
Also, I went down to a 6 for all ribbing since cotton is generally inelastic.
