I loved working on this pattern. The edge design is brilliant!

Notes:
I adapted this pattern to work with 2 skeins of Sister Ananse’s DK weight yarn. The color was created exclusively for String Theory Yarn Co.

1. Used US #7 needles
2. I worked the pattern until I had 27g left of my second skein. Then I worked the linen stitch for 2 inches and had enough for the i-cord bind off.
3. I did a couple of swaths of plain stockinette without the texture, just to see what it would look like.
4. I didn’t do the texture stitches close to the edge.

The size of your shawl is going to depend greatly on how much yarn you use up for the texture. My finished measurements after blocking are 64” x 22”
