I’m a b i g, b i G, B I G fan of The Walking Death series and I couldn’t resist making my version of Beth’s hat.

Susan made a superb job with her version, but I thought maybe there is another way to make one.
And here is it – I’m very pleasant with result although with this pattern is very difficult to make a symmetrical decrease.

Staci from Verypinkknit shows very well in her video how knit this pattern. I was tried to knit in the round but I don’t liked how looks, so I knitted brim in the round with 2 Ptbl, 1K and Rickrack rib stitch flat (at the end sewn with mattress stitch).

My gauge: 28 sts but this pattern is extremly stretchy, so CO was 141 + 2.
