I started this pattern wanting a large generous shawl which would reach all the way down to my hands when folded in half. Once I reached the final stages I was worried that it would only come just past my elbows although it was very difficult to try and judge the final size with it still on the needles. My worrys won the day and I ventured out to buy more wool and took on the task of adding another whole repeat of the pattern. This has taken the stitch count up to nearly 3000 stitches and now that I’m nearly at the end I’m starting to worry that it’s going to be too big :-S It may well be a bedspread rather than a shawl :-P
