I used most of three whole skeins, ending up with about .4oz left (or about 33 yards). It wouldn’t have been enough to do another repeat without getting another skein.

The last time I made this pattern (here), I commented that I couldn’t get row 9 to work out with the correct number of stitches. I’m thinking that I was probably reading the pattern wrong because it worked out every time this time through!

The only modification was to make it bigger. I repeated rows 5-12 eleven times rather than the seven specified. (I took a picture of it with the shawl I made last time using this pattern--that one repeated rows 5-12 eight times instead of seven.)
