Given that my gauge was a bit larger than the pattern’s recommended gauge - and mindful of the fact that Arbor blooms/grows - I cast on Size 1 (37.5”) for about 33.5” worth of actual chest.

Used the updated pattern (versus the version in PPQ).

Despite best efforts, my increases in the charted section resulted in wee holes, but hey, they’re consistent holes and work nicely with the droplet shapes. Call it part of the design.

After dividing for the armholes, I continued to knit in reverse-stockinette for a few rows, then did a German short-row before turning my work and knitting the rest of the body in regular ol’ stockinette.

Knit the body for 14.5” before starting the hem chart, which - based on my blocked swatch - I thought would give me a nice midpoint between a crop and full-length sweater. Unfortunately, the end result was still a bit too cropped for my tastes (see photos where I’m wearing jeans), so I frogged the hem chart and added an additional 2.5-inches of reverse stockinette before starting the hem chart a second time (see photos with plaid pants).
