Notes

This is a fun pattern. Used Jeny’s stretchy slipknot cast on link and knit in the back of every knit stitch for the ribbing. The yarn I used is a cotton/linen blend which is nice but did stretch some after washing and with wearing.

Modified the pattern by making it longer with a 2 row garter stitch before using Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off link The bind off really is stretchy!

With the raglan shaping I stopped at the 25th increase for smaller sleeves and continued body increases as written in the pattern.

I added a lifeline (dental floss) in the lace pattern purl row (rows 1 or 3 ) - made it much easier to take out rows when I made a mistake. It was also much easier to pick up stitches in a purl row. When I was comfortable with the pattern I did not use the lifeline as much. I used lace pointed needles and was able to K3tog without modifiying as others have done.

This is my second pullover. The first one (blue using Berroco Captiva yarn) I knit for my Mom - photo #4 and #5. I have yarn for a third pullover that I may start soon!. I am surprised more knitters have not tried this pattern.
