21:10:15 5 repeats of 1st lace section completed

23:10:15 so when my DD printed the pattern out for me, she altered the formatting (removed photos etc) and paid no attention to the end result - the stitch legend was all mixed in with each other, and even worse, the chart for Border 1 was on page 8 where charts for border 2 and 3 were on page 7. I am now tinking back 8 laborious rows of Border 2 because I completely missed Border 1 … sigh

The first number is for the Modest version the second for the Fancy; the list numbers correspond to amount of times the st st /lace chart is repeated. The pattern for Modest Hortense as written corresponds to 3 st st beaded chart repeats, the Fancy one is 6 repeats.

I used about 10g of size 8/0 white Ceylon seed beads (from Chromabeader on eBay). Pattern doesn’t use anywhere near enough beads :)

This project took long because, Xmas & baby knitting. Which means I don’t remember how big I made it - 4 repeats I think. Took 1 hour 20 mins to bind off.
