Notes

Really enjoyed this project. The pattern’s brief but just fine as long as you’re ok with charts.

Here’s what I did:

Colour change: I finished the last stitch & worked the slip stitch with the colour to be worked on 1st stitch of next round.

Carried yarn: I carried the yarn towards back to reduce bleed and height. At end of round, I brought the carried yarn up to work over it during ss.

Alignment: I started the pattern for the sides 3 squares from the left-hand edge of the chart in order to align the centre of the lower triangle motif with the top of the base triangle motif.

Size: To make the bag larger, work 3 extra base rounds to reach the next multiple of 30 stitches (150)
e.g. work increase rounds of plain light, alternating, plain dark (with 6 inc only) - Apple did this

Drawstring: I made 2ch gaps instead of 1. I used a 2.5mm hook to make 2 28” long chain straps.

Very happy! Thanks.
