I departed from the pattern by only making 35 + 35 ch for non-beaded sections as that gave me the length I wanted.

I threaded lime green 6/0 glass seed beads onto the 3ply cotton by stiffening about 1/2” yarn end with nail varnish and poking that through directly. Easy!

I varied the position of the beads (as mine were clumping in rows) by varying the starting/ending ch combination. e.g. I made one strand with 32ch to start & 38ch to end. Others were 37/33, 36/34, 33/37.

As the necklace is made in one long chain, I kept things organised by pinning the 1st chains of each strand together.

In the end, I wrapped the non-beaded section directly (instead of sc) as, for me, it was neater and faster.
