This pot/pencil holder is the perfect small project for learning angled and other special stitches once you’ve mastered the basic overlay mosaic crochet technique.

I made this left-handed, reading the chart from L -> R & following the excellent left-handed special stitch instructions.

This yarn is shown here on Ravelry as 5ply but, for Australian crocheters, it’s very like Spotlight Flinders 8ply.
