These are the results of various freeform knitting experiments, usually with crochet edging, to achieve different flower shapes (with and without petals).

I will continue to upload photos as more flowers emerge. Yarns used so far include lace weight silk, Rowan Kidsilk Haze, Debbie Bliss chunky cashmerino and various weights of mohair and pure wool tweed.

Most of the centres are made from vintage beads from my collection, and each flower has a brooch pin sewn to the back.
