Notes

This was a fun little lace knit. This yarn lives up to its name by being sublimely soft! While knitting, it shed angora fluff all over my clothes and wafted up my nose, but it is worth it for the extreme softness, and the shedding has died down after blocking.

As the pattern indicates, I used only one ball of yarn, however this does result in a short scarf, which is why I am calling it a ‘scarflette’. After blocking there is just enough length to fold once around the neck and fix in place with the flower. It is a beautiful garment, though… as light as air and ideal for autumn.

I amended the flower pattern slightly to have extra petals and pearl beads at the centre. (I also edged it with a single chain of crochet using Rowan kidsilk haze.)

I would definitely make this again, either as a scarflette or a full sized scarf using two skeins.
