Decided to have a try at this pattern using two strands of Drops Flora, held double, which equates to roughly DK - and a smaller needle (4mm) to make a hat for my 8 yr old.

I’ve also made made a few small tweaks to the chart (mostly because I am an incorrigible fiddler and can never leave things alone). I changed the stitch count to 90 and tweaked the shape of the bears very slightly. Other than that I knit it exactly as per the adult sized pattern.
