Jessica’s first baby got a dandy Sir Cephalopod, so it was only fair to give this baby an equally cute amigurumi—from the same pattern creator, no less!

This was a pleasure to knit. So fast, so simple, yet so adorable—far easier than Dandy Sir Cephalopod! I could have finished this faster, but I started it before ordering the 18 mm safety eyes (and nearly panicked and finished it with 15 mm eyes I had lying around, but the 18 mm ones showed up just in time).

I don’t know what the yarn I used is. It’s blue, and it’s worsted. It’s stash yarn I got from a friend, no label or anything. Actually, I had just enough to make the whale, with a small amount left over, so it was serendipity.
