Cast on using 4mm needles.
Knitted individually on DPNs, one as sock 1, one as sock 2 to get symmetrical position of cables at back of leg.
Now wish I had reversed cables in second sock, so the whole appearance was symmetrical.
On toe decreases, completed 4 lots of decrease round/plain round, not 5.
Was aiming for these to be a UK size 6 but for wide feet, so I could give them to Mum, but they fit my feet comfortable lengthwise and don’t strangle the ankle, so they might be too big for Mum.
