Doing them in all black - plan is to get some help needle felting a crown on the back of each

12/26: Plain black mitt’s are done - now I need to felt them and then attempt the needle felted crown on the back of each.

1/7: Due to the curly nature of the school logo’s crowns. I’m going to try knitting a rectangle of gold and felting it and then cutting it into the shape I need and needle felt that down. If that doesn’t work, we’ll try the gold roving I got. I’m slightly worried needle felting will become addicting!

1/9: I definitely should have cut out the 2nd crown myself but Tom did it…. it’s actually fine if you aren’t a perfectionist. ;-) They could stand to be needle felted a titch more but they look very good.
