  • Cast on 112 sts as per pattern
  • Skein weighs 116 grams
  • 70 rows 2x2 rib and then started decreases
  • 9.5” then decreases were 2.5” long so 12” from hem to tip
  • probably a bit too deep (about 0.5”) and the brim is 3” and i would prefer 2.5”. As a result, i think 11” is my sweet spot for hem to tip for my head
  • this one is for Sam so hopefully he will be happy with the fit for him
  • hat weighs 86 grams
